Health Care for All (Click here!)

Homepage Image:

As a physician, I have cared for scores of the 800,000 Coloradans, many from hardworking families, without health insurance.

We have a plan to reform health care in Colorado.  Originating from the 208 Commission, The Building Blocks for Health Care Reform, if fully implemented, would reduce the uninsured by 88%.

I would fight to simplify insurance claims, increase transparency of health and insurance costs, reduce administrative overhead, and develop better-integrated delivery systems. With an ultimate goal of universal, single-payer coverage, savings realized would then be used to expand eligibility thresholds to current non-employment linked programs including sCHIP, Medicaid and Medicare.
