Denver physician Mark Thrun is running as a Democrat for District 5 of the Colorado House of Representatives. In addition to his position as a physician at Denver Health Medical Center, Thrun is the director of the HIV Prevention and STD Control Program at Denver Public Health and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado, with several other employment and civic responsibilities.
