My parents tell me I dressed up as a doctor for Halloween at the age of 5.  I can't remember ever not wanting to help other people live healthier lives.

After years of serving working families from the confines of my office, I realized that my patients need so much more than I can offer in my practice: stellar eductional opportunites for our youth and young adults, quality jobs that pay livable wages, and employment packages that include meaningful health insurance and stable retirement benefits.

As a doctor you can trust me to lead in issues related to health and health care reform. As a manager of 40 staff and a multimillion-dollar budget, I am the only candidate with experience prioritizing services in the setting of limited resources.  Finally, as a father, you can be assured that my interest in public service is simply to create a better Colorado for my young boys, and indeed, all future generations of Coloradans.
